If my teacher wink at me whenever I am alone, what should I interpret it? and what should I do at that moment?

I am 25 year old and just started observership in a university program. My consultant (female 35 years old) winks at me, whenever she finds me alone. I feel guilty and become confused. I cannot interpret her behaiour. Can you please guide me that What should I interpret that human behaiour. And what should I do in response to that.

If my teacher wink at me whenever I am alone, what should I interpret it? and what should I do at that moment?
It could be any number of things. The best thing to do is to confront her and ask about it.

It might be sexual, it might be friendly. Whatever the case, decide if you're comfortable with it, and address it directly. Sometimes it can be good natured but still be misdirected and make you feel awkward.

When you talk to her, state specifically what she does and how you feel. For example, "When you wink at me, I'm not sure what you're saying, and I feel uncomfortable."

There are no easy answers unless you ask her the question. Good luck!
Reply:what is obervership? if this teacher is your boss or has authority over you talk to the dean. otherwise it usually means that she likes you in that special way. if she is just a fellow employee you need to ask her to stop if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
Reply:make no long eye contact with that person..their trying to read into your soft thoughts..the one's that are voulunable(sp?) thoughts.. they only are interested for what they can get from you! I would tell someone TODAY what you feel! Don't second guess your intuitions!!!!!!!!! No good for you dear friend..please..beware!!!!!!!Look away!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:A wink....and when you're alone, usually means that she thinks something of you more than just another "passing" student. Exactly what that "more" means, I don't know?? If it makes you uncomfortable, I would try not to make eye contact with her, and if that doesn't work and she is creeping you out, then report her to the right people who can work it out with her.
Reply:if its sombody of the oposite sex then take avantige of that and get an a in that class
Reply:Wink her back, but only when others are around.. thats what you should do at the moment :)
Reply:stop thinking about it, it will only distract you. if the teacher did something beyond that, report it to the school's superiors. Otherwise, just ignore it.
