If a 40 yr old married man winks at a 40 year old married woman he has known for a short time, is he flirting?
No, he is just being friendly in a flirty kind of way. Older people (30+) don't play the same relationship games that we used to when we were 15-25.

Reply:I would say yes. There are very few circumstances in which winking at someone would not be flirting, such as if he's telling a joke.
