Why is the Bible 66.6 Greek Pagan Worship of Zeus the Weather God and 33.3% Israelite Islam and .1% winks?

Christianity is really Crosstianity since worshippers of Jesus (Je-Zeus) wear crosses around their necks and make the sign of the cross on themselves not knowing that the Cross was meant to be a curse, but you never see them wearing Christ anywhere, because he prophesied, "I never knew you! Depart from me! ye that work iniquity."


Crosstianity is a Head Religion that is run by Headhunters, and they can shout and sing and clap all day as they try to swallow what's in their head, still it can never reach their hearts, and if it ever does they will die of heart failure.

yeah, and why do they call him jesus when the angel told mary that he would be named "immanuel"?

Here's one excerpt from one particular religious leader who funded his exploits by robbing innocent merchants' caravans.





"Let me see, I'll tell everybody that God has three daughters, oops, they're all angry...errr sorry chaps, the devil made me say that. Err...actually...there is only one God and blah...blah...blah."





And today his followers are bombing the crap out of everywhere killing mostly their own brethren, they are involved in 90% of all the unrest in the world, and are responsible for the mass murder of Christians all over the world in places like the Sudan and Indonesia. And at the end of all that, having no historical fact or scientific teaching or logic, resort to posts like this. Do you know that you're the sucker?
Reply:It isn't "Jesus", which is how we pronounce it in English only. It is I畏蟽ou, a common transliteration of the Hebrew name for Joshua. The same transliteration is used in Greek for the same-name author of the the Wisdom of Sirach. The name I畏蟽ou is not spelled the same as the Greek rendering of Zeus in any way.

Reply:If you ever paid attention to real Christianity - those who have personal salvation experiences with Jesus Christ and who do not need a mediator between them and God as they have Jesus Christ and not a pope, etc. - they don't usually wear crosses - there are man pagan christian religions and this is what makes it difficult to distinguish Christianity from the pagans - just as it is often said (this is not a slur) when you see a large setting of a foreign group of people, "how do you tell them apart?" Well, unfortunately Christians are lumped into the same category - but there is a big difference one you look closer and realize those that are of Christ and those that are of a religion.

Reply:The Greeks and Romans had a policy of absorbing whatever gods they in contact with into their own mythology. If they came in contact with a people who worshiped a single god, rather than a pantheon, they would say, this people worships just Zeus and no other gods. They would typically convert the prime temple into a temple of Zeus and erect other temples in the country elsewhere. This was actually done to the Second Temple in Jerusalem for a short period of time and led to a violent revolt. Yes the bible has absorbed some slight Zeus like tendencies but is certainly not a Zeus cult at all. When Rome finally absorbed Christianity, some of the reverse happened too. When they encountered a religion elsewhere, they would simply convert the existing temple into a Christian shrine sometimes incorporating pagan themes and festivals in the process. that is why Christmas and Easter have so many pagan sub-themes running through them.
