Well i think he's dropping hints. He likes or he wants to get to know you better you should try talking to him. Guys like it when girl talk to them.

It means you should cut the crap and start going out with him, you don't seem to have any trouble being around him, so what's the problem? Girls like to make everything way more elaborate and overwrought then they have to be, look at you you have a guy that is engaging, humorous and has a nice personality and you cannot determine for sure whether or not he likes you?! What are you-14?

Though, I think if she had to ask why, like you are now, I would be thinking, she's not going to know I like her for a while, and this will go on for a while. LoL.

Try asking him to do things with your like ice-cream, or coffee, then things like movies, and get bigger and bigger. Some advice though, don't seem desperate around him, but rather like you like him, but plenty of guys would ask you out, it would make a realtionship last longer.
